Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 6 October 2026
Seasely is an outbound sales platform. What goes out carries your name: this policy sets the floor for every workspace.
Why this policy exists
Seasely sends e-mail from your own mailboxes to businesses you chose to contact. Good outreach is relevant, honest, modest in volume and easy to opt out of. This policy sets the minimum standard every workspace must meet. It is not legal advice: you remain responsible for the laws and the e-mail rules that apply to you and to your recipients.
What is not allowed
- Spam: unsolicited bulk e-mail that is not relevant to the recipient's business, or sending to lists bought, scraped or obtained without a lawful basis.
- Harassment, threats or abusive language, and continuing to contact someone who asked you to stop.
- Deceptive impersonation: pretending to be another person or organisation, forging sender information or misleading subject lines.
- Phishing or any attempt to obtain credentials, payment details or personal data by deception.
- Malware, malicious links or attachments, or links that redirect to such content.
- Illegal targeting: contacting people or businesses you may not lawfully contact, including minors or recipients covered by a do-not-contact requirement.
- Unlawful use of personal data: uploading or targeting personal data you have no right to process, or using Seasely for anything other than business-to-business outreach.
- Bypassing limits: attempting to exceed, circumvent or automate around Seasely's sending limits, warm-up rules, provider quotas or mailbox health protections.
- Abusive bulk sending: sending volumes or patterns that put deliverability, your mailbox provider's rules or other Seasely customers at risk.
- Unlawful, infringing, defamatory or offensive content, and anything that violates the terms of the mailbox provider you connected.
What you must respect
- Unsubscribe, suppression and do-not-contact states: when a recipient unsubscribes or asks to stop, Seasely suppresses the address for your workspace and you must not contact it again by other means.
- Bounce and mailbox health protections: Seasely stops a sequence after a hard bounce, slows or pauses a mailbox whose health degrades and refuses sends that would exceed safe limits. You must not work around these protections.
- Reply and stop rules: when a prospect replies, the automated sequence stops. You must not re-enrol a prospect who declined.
- Accurate sender identity: your name, your company and a working reply address, and a physical business address in your e-mails where the law requires one.
How Seasely enforces this
Seasely monitors deliverability signals (bounces, spam complaints where providers report them, unsubscribe rates, provider errors) and may pause a mailbox, a campaign or a workspace automatically to protect recipients, your sending reputation and the platform. Where this policy is broken we may suspend or terminate the account under the Terms of Service. Where reasonable we warn first and explain what to change. Reports of abuse can be sent to support@seasely.com.
Your responsibility
You remain responsible for complying with the laws and the outreach rules that apply to you and to each recipient, including rules on commercial electronic messages, data protection and the acceptable use policies of your mailbox provider. Seasely's safeguards reduce risk; they do not transfer that responsibility.
